Angela Bonetti studied at Sydney Conservatorium with Robert Pikler. She started her professional career at the age of 17 and by 21 she had joined the BBC National Orchestra of Wales as sub Principal. Moving to London she joined the BBC Concert Orchestra and then the London Philharmonic. She has also played regularly with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. After many years as a member of the Orchestra of Royal Opera House, Covent Garden she has now returned to Australia.
A highly regarded violin teacher whilst in England she taught at Junior Royal Academy of Music fostering the careers of many young musicians. She now looks forward to assisting the development of some exciting young violinists.
Andrea joined Paddington Music in 2015, her great teaching style has already achieved 2 Distinction awards in AMEB violin exams. She is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and is a highly experienced performer and chamber music player.
